“I had the pleasure of being chosen as a Roots Fund Scholar to pour at the La Paulee VIP event in LA to benefit the nonprofit organization! TRF provided immense support throughout the entire process which made this a memorable experience thus far! Working with seasoned sommelier Raj allowed us to learn the core principles of formal fine dining service within a private event setting. Not only did we educate ourselves but had the time to speak to potential donors about the work that TRF is doing everyday in the wine industry! “Doing the work” is not only what TRF is doing but a motto that has been adopted by many of the scholars including myself!
